My commitment to professional development extends beyond the court and pool. Armed with a Sports Management Diploma from David Game University, London, I possess a comprehensive understanding of the administrative and strategic aspects of sports leadership. Throughout my coaching career, I have relentlessly pursued further education, accumulating a diverse array of certifications and qualifications tailored to enhance my coaching acumen.
As a Swim America certified coach, I am equipped with the knowledge and methodology to guide swimmers of all levels towards mastery in the water. Additionally, my dedication to basketball coaching has been recognized on a national level, as I proudly serve as a nominated coach for my country and hold certification from the Ethiopian Basketball Federation.
One of my proudest achievements is the accumulation of over 10,000 hours spent honing my craft as a coach. This extensive experience has afforded me invaluable insights and expertise, solidifying my status as a trusted authority in the field. Through continual learning and refinement, I have cultivated a coaching philosophy rooted in innovation, empowerment, and holistic athlete development.

My odyssey commenced in 2011, against the backdrop of Ethiopia, where I took my inaugural strides in coaching by nurturing a youth basketball team. What sets my story apart is the parallel pursuit of excellence as a former national team swimmer and basketball player—a testament to my multifaceted dedication to sports.
Since 2013, my coaching voyage has flourished here in the UAE, with pivotal milestones intertwined with the illustrious Baroudy Sports Club. From 2013 to 2014, I played a pivotal role in the expansion of the club, both in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Notably, I spearheaded the establishment of a branch at Two Seasons Hotel (formerly Gloria Hotel) in Dubai. Currently, I am overseeing operations at Two Seasons Hotel independently.
Moreover, my tenure in Dubai has been marked by fruitful collaborations with esteemed institutions. Notable among them are Al Ittihad School Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Country Club, Clarion School Dubai, Raffles International School, Raffles World School, and presently, Two Seasons Hotel Media City, Kings School Dubai, Kings School Al Barsha, and Elite Pro Sports. These partnerships have enriched my coaching journey, allowing me to impart knowledge and inspire budding athletes across diverse educational and athletic landscapes.
In addition to sports coaching, I offer life coaching services, drawing from my understanding of life and a desire to empower others to achieve their fullest potential. Through personalized guidance and strategies, I aim to equip individuals with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges and seize opportunities for growth and fulfillment.
